2019 NCESD - STEM Summit

Are you interested in helping middle school girls make connections to computer science and STEM fields? This session will provide you with a toolkit and resources to plan a Girls in STEM and Tech event for students to interact with tech professionals to gain exposure to careers in business and technology and to get an inside look at what it's like to work in STEM fields. Learn how you can provide provides girls with career planning assistance, information about technology and business roles, thought-provoking exercises, and interesting technology demonstrations and hands-on activities to inspire young women in your school.
